So, if you are already thinking about hearts and Valentines, maybe I can help you out!

These are available here and are ready to ship.  The other organizer bins are here.

Christmas Fabric Organizer Bins are back for 2010

After debuting in 2009, Original Sew Gracious Christmas Organizer Bins are available again in the SG Etsy Shop!  The classic, much-loved Leopard Santa is back, {with some new fabrics from that group coming soon!}    Customer favorite damask is now available in some new colorways; perfect for Christmas!  New holiday owls in non-traditional winter colors are great for those who celebrate Christmas as well as those who enjoy the winter season.   What cute hostess gifts, housewarming presents and don't forget teachers!  They love bins!

If you could see my studio, you would amazed at all of the other new fabrics that are one the way to the shop.  Right now I am balancing my time between filling orders and making items with new fabrics.  As promised on Facebook, a brand new item is still in the works.  Fabric is cut and ready, now to find a few more hours in day to sew!

REALLY IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT WHEN YOUR ORDER WILL SHIP:
Right now, most orders ship within 5-7 business days after payment is received {Monday-Friday : weekends & holidays excluded} There are, of course, exceptions.  Ready to ship items are mailed right away while larger orders may take a little longer. As the holidays approach, that turnaround time is sure to be a little longer.  Please keep this in mind as you begin your holiday shopping.  If you are in a rush, please let me know and ask if I am able to meet your needs. The planned deadline for Christmas orders is December 5.  After that date, only ready to ship items will be listed in the shop.  All others will be removed until after the holidays.  That will allow me to offer items for last minute shoppers as well as enjoy planning for Christmas with my family..
Take a peek in the shop to see Christmas bins as well as all other Fabric Organizer Bins.  They make the best gifts and you can't beat the price!  :)

By the way, only 38 days til Christmas . . . :)

Organization American Style

This time of year conjures up thoughts of watermelons, fireworks and all things red, white & blue.

What better way to celebrate the season and liven up your Independence Day festivities than to add a cool new color block organizer bin to your decorations? These are reversible just like the original Sew Gracious Organizer Bins, but rather than handles, the lining serves as a pretty contrast trim around the top edge.

Both of these are ready to ship today!  Simply visit the Sew Gracious Etsy Shop!

It's ELECTRIC!

I love Etsy.

Today is another day in a week filled will dreary, rainy, chilly days.
It's not a Monday, but not quite the weekend either.
Blah.
Meh.
Whatever.

On my way through the family room, I stopped by the laptop to check my email when I clicked on the Etsy Finds email that I receive regularly.   Somedays I love it, somedays . . .  well, it's ok.  Today was a good day. WOW!  Bursting with color, bright & cheerful.  The perfect little pick-me-up on this gray day. :)  Thanks, Etsy.

Then as I scrolled down to see of the lovlies, hand-picked by Etsy,  I was ecstatic to see that they have featured this reversible bin in today's picks! Yippee Skippy!

If you have a minute, please go check out the entire Storque Article with Today's Etsy Finds.  It's called Electric Ladyland.  I'll say!

You can see more reversible bins and Easter Baskets in the Sew Gracious Etsy Shop too.

Hope your day is ELECTRIC!

Etsy Finds : Organization Nation

Organization is popular for 2010!

Organization is so popular, in fact, that it was the featured theme in the Etsy Blog {called The Storque} yesterday.  As you know, Sew Gracious has been offering reversible organizer baskets since November 2009 and Etsy has noticed!

They included this customer favorite bin their picks for getting organized in the new year.  Thank you, Etsy!  There are lots of other great organization goodies in this Storque article.  It's not too late to get your ducks in a row for 2010!

See more Sew Gracious Reversible Organization Bins here

Big thanks to my friend Miki at Fresh Lemon Blossoms for letting me know about the feature. :)

Pink Punch . Paris :: New Pretties

It's been busy in the studio lately and I love it!
I've been enjoying working with some new fabric like this one.  I call it Pink Punch because it reminds me of a Vera Bradley print.  This isn't Vera, but I still love the colors & design.

This is one of the newest organizer bins, but I've always used Pink Punch for lots of other favorite accessories in the shop.

Some fabrics are just timeless.
This is Springtime in Paris by Michael Miller
So fresh, so pretty, so feminine!

When you think of Paris, you think of the Eiffel Tower.

More new fabrics & new accessories are in the shop now!
It's still wintertime, but catch your first breath of spring with visions of Paris
Pink Punch or Posh & Preppy pretties. :)

Reversible Organizer Bins for 2010

If you've been a Sew Gracious customer, fan or follower since November 1, 2009 when they were first introduced; you know that Reversible Organizer Baskets were extremely popular during the Christmas season. So many customers asked if I would continue to offer them in the new year.

The answer is YES!

I appreciate so many of you letting me know that you love them! The first of the new bins for 2010 were listed in the shop this week.

ultra preppy : reverses to pink & green polka dots!
This one is sure to be a best-seller

Fun, Asian-inspired Yui Kokeshi fabric lined with Amy Butler dots
2D Zoo in blue!
How cute would this or the Polka Dot Puppy be for a baby shower?
Fill it with diapers or baby gear for a cute gift that Mom can use in the nursery!

polka dot puppy
the perfect place to keep your Valentines
Some of your favorite fabrics are already available, but you'll also find some new fabrics as well as cute Valentine prints. These are just the first of TONS of new fabrics that will be available.
The bins are reversible so the interior is a complementary fabric. If you like the outside fabric, but prefer a solid color lining, that's no problem. Simply purchase the basket you like and let me know in your notes to seller at checkout. I'll make the change for you AND refund $2.00 to your Paypal account. Bins with solid linings are $18 while those with a coordinating print are $20. Not a bad price for getting 2 baskets in 1.
You may also remember last years Easter baskets with the single handle. Any organizer bin is available as a single handle basket. Just as above, make your purchase and note your desired change at checkout.
Keep watching for new fabrics. My work table is piled high with great fabric combinations that you will seeing soon!

Teachers Love Lanyards

and key chains . . . and anything else from your little sweetie! Why not give them something special . . . something handmade. It's the time of year to think of our wonderful hardworking teachers. Classroom parties will be happening within the next couple of weeks so it's time to shop for your favorite educator! Most of these items ship within a day or so of your purchase. Rush orders can usually be accomodated as well . . . just shoot me a convo.

Teachers not only teach our kids everyday, they also take care of them, nurture them and influence them in a mighty way. They put in countless hours for class prep, graduate classes, grading papers, etc. that many of us never consider.

As you know, most teachers need to wear ID these days, which is a very good thing. They also need to keep some keys handy as they go throughout their day. Show them a little love and give them something pretty to keep up with those necessities.
We are blessed with THE MOST WONDERFUL teacher this year. Her enthusiam is contageous and she truly makes learning a fun experience. It's all hands-on in her room and the kids love her.

Your teacher would love a new lanyard, wristlet key fob, mini key fob or even a tissue case. She might also enjoy an organizer bin. What a cute way to collect papers and keep her desk tidy.

See these and all the great teacher gifts {most $8 or less} at the Sew Gracious Etsy Shop! And show your teacher some love! Don't forget the school librarian, administrative assistants, teachers aides and the school nurse!
