Well, that just about says it all, doesn't it?  ;)

Today is December 12.  That means only 13 days until the Big Day.  That also means shopping time is getting short; especially if ordering items that need to be mailed to you.

The deadline for ordering from the Sew Gracious Etsy Shop is

WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 14, 2011

After that date, the Etsy shop will remain open during the holidays, but no new orders can be processed until after Christmas.  My machines will go to the shop for their annual tune up and I'll be spending time with my family.  Yay!  I may try to work on more destashing in the studio so watch for new fabrics and some supplies to be available after Christmas.  Goodness knows that I have plenty of fabric that needs a new home. :)  Ready to ship items will be shipped throughout the holiday season.

Have you looked at your calendar lately?  Today is December 7, only 18 days til Christmas!  YIKES!

This is the time of year that I work feverishly to complete pending orders in the shop.  From Thanksgiving til mid-December the studio is a crazy place . . . orders everywhere!  It's a good time, but a busy time.  I'm the only one here so I take care of everything and it takes a little more time that usual.  My customers are wonderfully patient and I appreciate that so much.  If you've ordered lately, know that I want to get your order to you asap.

Don't you love the fun, girly pairing of colors and prints that you see at boutiques and in catalogs now?  Zebra or leopard print paired with EVERYTHING!   Whimsical apple green instead of the traditional primary green for Christmas.  Polka dots are everywhere!  Who doesn't love polka dots . .  really!

I've been inspired to create the Sew Gracious vision of these fun pairings.  These are just a few of the new Christmas Organizer Bins in this shop.   What a pretty place to store all those Christmas cards that will start coming in soon.  Fill one with bath and body goodies for your BFF!  Cookies and classroom supplies inside a bin would be a great teacher gift!

Christmas Fabric Organizer Bins are back for 2010

After debuting in 2009, Original Sew Gracious Christmas Organizer Bins are available again in the SG Etsy Shop!  The classic, much-loved Leopard Santa is back, {with some new fabrics from that group coming soon!}    Customer favorite damask is now available in some new colorways; perfect for Christmas!  New holiday owls in non-traditional winter colors are great for those who celebrate Christmas as well as those who enjoy the winter season.   What cute hostess gifts, housewarming presents and don't forget teachers!  They love bins!

If you could see my studio, you would amazed at all of the other new fabrics that are one the way to the shop.  Right now I am balancing my time between filling orders and making items with new fabrics.  As promised on Facebook, a brand new item is still in the works.  Fabric is cut and ready, now to find a few more hours in day to sew!

REALLY IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT WHEN YOUR ORDER WILL SHIP:
Right now, most orders ship within 5-7 business days after payment is received {Monday-Friday : weekends & holidays excluded} There are, of course, exceptions.  Ready to ship items are mailed right away while larger orders may take a little longer. As the holidays approach, that turnaround time is sure to be a little longer.  Please keep this in mind as you begin your holiday shopping.  If you are in a rush, please let me know and ask if I am able to meet your needs. The planned deadline for Christmas orders is December 5.  After that date, only ready to ship items will be listed in the shop.  All others will be removed until after the holidays.  That will allow me to offer items for last minute shoppers as well as enjoy planning for Christmas with my family..

Any orders placed after that date, cannot be guaranteed to ship in time for Christmas gift giving. It's time to cut off orders so that I can enjoy family time, Christmas parties at school {yes, I'm the room mom this year and am planning the party for the entire grade -- 4 classes. Yes, I'm crazy! LOL} do some baking, get ready for 2 family gatherings at our house, wrap gifts, attend a spelling bee & chorus program, coach a scholar's bowl team, celebrate a birthday, go to Jr. Beta club initiation . . . well, you get the idea. I've got a busy few days ahead. All that, plus finish my orders. :-) Life is GOOD!

I'm so thankful for my customers every single year. I know the economy is concern for everyone, but I'm so pleased to be able to offer quality, affordable gifts to return customer as well as the droves of new Etsy shoppers! Yea!
