Merry Christmas

Born in a manger so long ago

A lowly birth for a King; for the Savior of the world

There was no hoopla.

No email, no tweet, no facebook post about it

Only angels appearing to shepherds in the fields

to proclaim the Good News.

Those shepherds went to Bethlehem and found Him

just as the angels had promised . . .

a baby wrapped in swaddling clothes lying in a manger

The real Christmas Story is wonderful.

He came us because He loves us that much!
