I get by with a little help from my friends

I am participating in the Boutique Sidekicks CLOSURES Launch this week on eBay . In this collaboration, each member chose a partner (our sidekick) and we sent each other a type of closure. My partner & friend for this launch is Cora of Ophelia Miller Boutique.

Cora sent me this closure to work with. I decided to split the pieces; using the ring as an accent on the messenger flap & using the clip as a convenient key clip inside the bag.

When I received my closure, I start designing this OOAK : one of a kind bag. I created the chic patchwork from fabrics by Amy Butler & Anna Maria. I created this new bag this week; while experimenting with some new ideas & techniques. I love the sling style with the funky, bohemian feel. The beautiful fabrics by Amy Butler, Anna Maria & Michael Miller combined to produce a striking bag; perfect for the transition into Fall 2007.
