I've shared this picture before on my blog and just had to share again this Father's Day.
It's me with my Daddy in the Summer of 1966 at the beach. Wasn't he handsome?
He was a wonderful Daddy.
We may not have always seen eye to eye, but I was his baby girl until the day he went to Heaven.
I was blessed to see him that morning. The last thing I said to him was "I love you".
No regrets. He was the picture of health and had that ever-present smile on his face the last time I saw him.
I kissed him on the cheek before I said goodbye that day; not knowing it was for the last time.
That was a little over 6 years ago. Now he's watching over me from Heaven.
If your Daddy is still with you, tell him you love him today. He will treasure it forever!
