Nothing says spring like tulips
These particular tulips are determined little flowers. They weren't supposed to come up. You can see the pea gravel ground cover around them. They are growing in an area that was too shady for grass during the summer. We opted to put down black weedblocker & pea gravel rather that fight the natural area. To my surprise, these tulips poked through that weedblock and gravel this year. They are doing better than they have in the past several years. I guess it was just meant to be. :-)
