It's My Birthday Too, yeah! :)
Once upon a time, shortly after midnight on December 16; a baby girl was born. She was the best Christmas present for her family that year. Her big brother thought she was beautiful {until she was old enough to go in his room & wreck his model cars} and her parents were proud of their baby girl. She looked just like her Daddy.As she grew, her hair became curly and her blue/green eyes sparkled. Her grandmother always said, "she smiles with her eyes". That same grandmother instilled a love of sewing in her at an early age. Her grandfather was a buddy who taught her to play cards long before she was in first grade.
She was a good student, all the while continuing her love of all things with needle & thread. She graduated at the top of her class and went out to conquer the world. She did in her own way . . . becoming a certified aerobics instructor, getting a drafting degree, owning a cross stitch/framing and a few other things along the way. :) Then she got married & became a Mother herself. THAT was what made her most happy . . . and still does to this day.
Fast forward to 2008. Her hair is not so curly; just wavy, but that's taken care of by a flat iron. The gray is non-existent thanks to her hairdresser. She still smiles with her eyes. She is now the owner/designer/creator/marketing rep/creative force behind Sew Gracious. She maintains her Etsy Shop, her Blog and her website while doing the daily Mom-stuff that she loves. She is blessed beyond her imagination by her family, her loyal customers & her friends. She is happy, thankful & blessed.
