Today is Thanksgiving 2006. Although it may sound trite, I encourage you to stop for a moment and really consider what you are thankful for.
I am blessed with a wonderful, happy, healthy family that I love more than anything. We are close, support each other & care for each other. We are true to each other & depend on each other. FAMILY is our priority. The world can sometimes be disappointing, but my family is my rock.
I am thankful to live in a free country. I appreciate the service of the many brave men & women who serve in all branches of the military. It is because of their efforts that I enjoy all of the benefits of living in a democracy. I can sleep safely & peacefully at night. Thank you to all who serve and thank you to their families.
I am thankful that I am a Christian. God showers his blessings, grace & mercy on me each day. The ultimate gift of His Son is like none other. God is Good!
I could write a book about being thankful, but I'll close here. :-) I hope you have a blessed Thanksgiving Day surround by those you love.
