Party Like It's 2009

The Biggest Party of the Year
in New York City

The Ball drops in Times Square tonight.
The revelers will be partying in a big way.
It's always fun to watch them on TV, while I enjoy being in a warm home in some warm jammies after enjoying a nice dinner at home.
Needless to say, my version of a New Year's party is a little different than theirs. :-)

Could you imagine being in THIS crowd?
No thanks.

I have to say, I'm ready to say goodbye to 2008. It was a challenging year for our family; dealing with the death of a loved one and health issues for many family members. The silver lining has been the opportunity for growth and for a closer relationship with God. I'm looking forward to 2009 with hope, encouragement and anticipation for good things. I don't make resolutions, but I do plan to try to look for the positive in every situation in the new year.

On a professional note, I appreciate all of my wonderful customers. You helped make 2008 a great year for Sew Gracious. Thank you all SO MUCH! Etsy has been a fantastic venue and I look forward to more growth in 2009. New items are on the way so I hope you will visit the shop in the New Year.

In closing, I wish you health, happiness, peace & prosperity in the new year
Happy 2009

Happy New Year! We are opting for a quiet night at home after an evening of snowboarding! The thought of getting in my new warm jammies and making a wonderful dinner with my love, after a day of doing one of our favourite things had me all giddy with excitement!

I hope 2009 is better for you! We had a quiet night at home, too. I wouldn't mind being out in the crowd... it's the COLD that I wouldn't be able to stand!
