Headin' Home

So... who's leaving Hollywood tonight?
My picks for a ticket back home :
  • Luke: I keep picking him, but I really think this is his week. He did a pretty good job on the George Michael song though

  • Chikeze: Great vocals, but his attitude is getting old

  • Kady: Talk about attitude! It is past time for this girl to GO!

  • Asia'h : She did a pretty good job on the Whitney song, but the scratchy voice thing is too much

I was so excited about 80s week, but I think the contestants missed the chance to do some great 80s songs. I do think that Brooke White did an outstanding job (and a new take) on Pat Benatar's Love Is A Battlefield.

My fav, David Archuleta, nailed the Phil Collins song! Who knew he could play too? Michael Johns....good thing he's a cutie because I think he missed the mark a bit with his Simple Minds cover.

And the grossest moment of the night (I guess that would be "gag me with a spoon" on 80s night) goes to Jason Castro. YOUR DREAD BROKE OFF IN YOUR HAND ON A DATE AT THE DINNER TABLE ?!?!?!?!?!? ewwwww!!!!

I think Luke's number is up, too, but as for the other guy, it's anyone's guess.

On the girls' side, my choices to go home would be Stepford Blonde #1 (Kady) and Stepford Blonde #2 (Kristy Lee). I've been calling for Kady and her poutface to go home for weeks. Please let it be tonight.

I thought Jason Castro's embarrassing moment was a little gross too - but I loved his rendition of Hallelujah. I want him to stick around.

Brooke grew on me last night -- even though I think she's too much puppies/rainbows/sunshine and all those nice things, I did like her performance last night. I like the folky vibe I'm getting from her and Jason.

We'll know in 3 more hours who's sung on that stage for the last time.
